Change The Records is a British record label with a focus on the pop, R&B and dance markets. It is owned by Universal Music Group. The label was known as Rock Steady Records until 2017 when the label underwent a rebranding following Janet Jackson purchasing shares in the label.



Founded in 2015, the label's first signing was Madonna who released one studio album under the label entitled 'This Is A War'



The label's most successful signing has been Janet Jackson who released her 2016 album, 'Heartbreak On Hold' under the label which yielded the hits 'What Happens On The Dancefloor' featuring Britney Spears and 'Lipstick Kisses' featuring Nicki Minaj.



Current artists on the label are Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Nadine Coyle and Fleur East.



Former artists include Shania Twain, Cheryl, Sugababes, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
