Armani Marie Bijoux (born October 22, 1997), known professionally by the mononym Armani, is a Haitian singer, songwriter, producer and dancer. Born and raised in Tabarre, Haiti, Armani grew up in a troubled household. Her father passed away in 2010 during the Haitian earthquake disaster, leaving he rmother to raise Armani and her five siblings. 

In 2016, Armani and her than-boyfriend moved to the United States to live in a small apartment in New York City. It was here that Armani begun to pursue a career in entertainment more seriously. At first, she attended countless audtions for acting and modelling gigs, but found no success. It wasn't until she attended a New Year's Eve party with a socialite friend that she found her big break. After meeting the CEO of newly formed label Freaky Entertainment, Armani was audtioned and signed under a 5 album deal.

In late 2017, Armani released her debut single Paradise under the label. The song was met with huge success, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for four weeks, and surpassing 10 million units worldwide. She also released the latin collaboration Toda la Noche with her boyfriend J Balvin, which showed success worldwide, as well as the Top 10 hit Good Body with Cardi B


Early Life[]

Armani Marie Bijoux was born on October 22, 1997, in Tabarre, Haiti. Her mother, Luisah (Morein), is of Afro-Haitian background, and her father, Damon Bijoux, was an accountant of Afro-Haitian and Argentinian descent. Armani has two sisters, Troian and Rhea Bijoux, two brothers, Juvensun and Tyrann Bijoux, and a half-sister on her mothers side from a previous relationship. She grew up in a two bedroom home in Tabarre and helped her mother with her clothes washing service as a child. Her childhood was greatly affected by the Haitian earthquake in 2010, in which she lost her father. As a child she was often taken to counselling due to the massive affect the death of her father had on her mental health. Armani grew up listening to reggae and Haitian rap music and began singing classes when she was just eight. She attended Lycee Jean Marie Vincent de Tabarre. She never graduated, however, as she chose to pursue a career in music.

In 2016, Armani and her then-boyfriend moved to the United States in order to have access to more oppurtunities in life.
